The easiest way to get discounts is by searching through the Six Flags website. No matter which park you're going to, it's a great idea to sign up to receive e-mails from Six Flags. You'll be the first to know about special offers and other promotional news from the parks when you join the In The Loop newsletter.
If you're a regular visitor, you should also sign up for a season pass. This can save you lots of money. You can even get free parking all year when you buy four passes online. Season pass holders also receive over $300 in discounts for merchandise, food and games in the parks. Speaking of making purchases, if you use a Discover card online or in the park you'll save 5%.
Before you leave the website, you should also click on the "Ticket Combos" link at the bottom of the homepage. You can then see if there are any special combo discounts available for your park. Some examples found have included more than $8 off the price of a one-day ticket, parking pass, and a combo meal.
Each individual park may also work with various sponsors in the local community to make special deals on admission. Depending on where you're going to visit, you should check area supermarkets, chambers of commerce, newspapers, and even hotel lobbies for coupons and discount brochures. It's a little extra footwork, but you can really save a bundle.
