Preheat EV in winter. Why? How long? Extreme cold, what you need to know.
How long does it take to sufficiently preheat an electric car and what are the benefits of preconditioning an EV. In this video I show you our two Teslas in extreme cold. I will pre-heat the 2018 Tesla Model 3 but not the 2013 Tesla Model S 85. I will take temperatures inside both cars showing how fast the interior warms up. I will explain how not preheating your electric vehicle will affect the range and how to prevent major range loss in winter.
