Gardels Garden in Fort Greene Brooklyn - Plant care is Self care - Concepts and Conversations
Garden’s Garden is a horticultural haven for lovely houseplants. Located in Fort Greene Brooklyn at 97 So. Portland Ave.
Because I want to find out how we’re all making it out here I asked; “How are your making it in Bk?”
Gardel has a very straight forward approach to life and business that is “work for what you want and be the best at it”.
We spoke a lot about the state of things and general plant care and I came to realize, the care of a plant is the same care we all should give ourselves:
Water the middle (your heart)
Take your time to get to the root
Don’t sit in stale water for too long
He left out the part about singing to and affirming your plants, so I’ll add that when you do, your plant babies absolutely love it.
Visit Gardels Garden when you’re in search of happy healthy plants for your home and business. Gardel is great with educating you through the selection process. You just have to do the work and keep up the care.
