Part 1 of 2: This screencast goes over how to set up virtual hosts on your local development environment. I am using Wampserver on Windows Vista. Setting up virtual hosts means for example that you can navigate to your local site directly by typing http://mylocalsite directly instead of http://localhost/mylocalsite.
