Typically when I plan a capsule, I need pieces that can make multiple outfits, but for a travel capsule (especially for longer trips) the goal is to have ✨everything✨ mix and match.
Here is my summer travel capsule for a 3.5 week trip with mixed weather (some hot days, some colder, rainy days). We have access to a washing machine for some of the time so I planned for 8-10 days of clothes.
Here's the breakdown:
2 tank tops
2 bra tanks - can be worn either as a bra or cropped tank
4 tees
2 shirts/blouse
3 shorts
2 skirts
2 pants
1 dress
2 layers (cardigan and hoodie)
Also not shown:
1 raincoat
1 swimsuit
1 pair of sneakers
1 pair of sandals
1 pair of flats
And last minute I threw in another tank because it's hard to let go of my over-packing tendency 😅
