Command Block Tutorial
In this video I will show you how to make two different types of Spyglass that can prove useful in various situations.
Commands:
To give yourself the Night Vision Spyglass: /give @p minecraft:spyglass{Enchantments:[{id:infinity}],display:{Name:"{\"text\":\"Night Vision Spyglass\"}"}}
1. Repeater Command Block: /execute if entity @a[nbt={SelectedItem:{id:"minecraft:spyglass",tag:{display:{Name:"{\"text\":\"Night Vision Spyglass\"}"}}}}] run effect give @p minecraft:night_vision 1 2 true
To give yourself the Thermal Spyglass: /give @p minecraft:spyglass{Enchantments:[{id:infinity}],display:{Name:"{\"text\":\"Thermal Spyglass\"}"}}
1. Repeater Command Block: /execute if entity @a[nbt={SelectedItem:{id:"minecraft:spyglass",tag:{display:{Name:"{\"text\":\"Thermal Spyglass\"}"}}}}] run execute at @p run effect give @e[type=!player,distance=0..50] minecraft:glowing 1 20 true
