Money Work Workshop with Lena Bumke
Have you heard about 'money work'? - I use this term, coined by Peter König, to encompass the different practices and approaches that aim to uncover our unconscious beliefs, stories and patterns around money. Money is almost omnipresent in our lives and yet we have such little opportunity to reflect and examine what moves us when we move it. Our economic and social systems as well as our unique history and context have deeply influenced our relationship to money. I believe that if we want to bring about systems change, particularly in the field of finance and money, such as impact investing, it is crucial to understand our 'inner programmes' connected to money. To gain more actual choice, to align our actions with our values or step out of reproducing extractive patterns. This inquiry into personal money stories, but also new collective money practices - whether that is 'new pay' and alternative salary systems or collaborative budgeting processes - has been a big part of my work for the past years, mainly through Greater Than, and I invite you to join me for an experiential 1.5h workshop. This workshop does not teach how to make a budget, invest, save, earn more, or negotiate. Instead, we dive right into our beliefs and emotional landscape around money, where we have blockages or misalignments between what we think, how we act, and what we experience in reality.
