Sally's sells different tubs of Clairol Kaleidescopes but one of them is not clay, and I don't like it. Just be aware of the difference 🧐

what i used :
Violet Packet https://www.sallybeauty.com/hair-colo...
Witch Hazel https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=h...

lol sorry my camera was horrible focusing just upgraded though😁

I start with virgin hair, shampoo, skip conditioner and use Dickinson's Witch Hazel Toner (all over scalp/hair) (to balance PH) and mix my violet packet (let it sit for 15 min after all lumps are mixed out, you'll notice the texture gets slightly creamy). Apply the clay while my hairs still damp (left this for like 5 mins once and had to wash it out but other times I've had to wait 20 - depends. So defninitely just watch it..) Damp hair helps block the cuticle from being over-penetrated. This is step 1 of 2 if going more than 2 levels lighter. The 2nd step is toner.

ALSO PLS REMEMBER THIS IS ON VIRGIN HAIR. Chemically there's a very big difference between black virgin hair and hair that's been dyed black. I wouldn't use bleach or toners on hair that's been dyed black.
