Business Tips from Tom Murphy of Pamex Ltd
The third in a series of interviews with local business leaders, I spoke with Tom Murphy of Pamex Ltd, the company behind "Total Shaving Solution" - now known as "Defacto Shave" - https://www.defactoshave.com
Tom has grown his Castlebar-based pharmaceuticals distribution company to 18 employees and a turnover of over €6 million. Along the way in a real David and Goliath battle, Pamex has had to beat an international pharmaceutical giant in French courts.
Tom is also author of "It Never Started on the Late Late Show", a business book and a personal account of Tom's inspirational journey from dole queue to successful entrepreneur.
I asked Tom about the rebrand of Total Shaving Solution, for his take on online marketing, and what advice he has for entrepreneurs starting out.
