Danyèl Waro & Interzone / interview with Lukas Kranzelbinder @ Glatt&Verkehrt 2022
Right after the great and uplifting show of the band of Danyèl Waro together with the Austrian contemporary jazz trio, Interzone. Radio Wira Wiri spoke to bassist, guembri player and composer Lukas Kranzelbinder who introduced maloya, the traditional muziek of La Réunion to Austria, to the festival Glatt und Verkehrt. With Mario Rom on trumpet and Herbert Pirker on drums. The guembri Lukas uses in the show, is a Moroccan instrument from the gnawa tradition.
