A multiplane camera is used in animation that moves a number of pieces of artwork past the camera at various distances from one another. This creates a three-dimensional effect. If you've set this up yourself, you know if can be time consuming to setup your layers, move the camera, re-scale your layers, check them again until you are happy. Our new free script - Multiplane for After Effects makes this kind of animation setup fast and easy... and best of all, did I mention it's free?
