Briar, a shy and reclusive teen, is being tormented by two bullies. One day she comes across an ancient tree where she stumbles across an old magical book. Inside is an incantation which she reads aloud, thus inadvertently summoning the Goddess Agrona. The Goddess wreaks revenge on Briar’s behalf but ultimately demands a sacrifice, her very own soul.
