Video 6 - Stanley Kubrick Eating
A humble attempt at linking similar themes found in Stanley Kubrick‘s films. I’m sure I’ve overlooked many other combinations - it’s a start. Added: I want to point out that obviously the music heard from time 1:40 to 2:17 is not from any Kubrick film. I wanted to use Wendy Carlos' recording of Beethoven's 9th but was denied permission to post the video with it. Her version would have faded up with Danny having lunch, timed exactly with Alex and the Ladies in the record shop and faded out after Floyd's tray rises from his lap. You can still hear a bit of the her recording twice as Alex speaks. It was so much better with her music. It's a shame I had to edit it out.
