Is Creating a SSA.gov Account Worth It?
Social Security estimate information used to be mailed out more regularly, but these days it’s only every 5 years. So, where can you go to find your social security estimate information?
SocialSecurity.gov, or ssa.gov, is the online portal for managing all of your Social Security information. The US government provides this tool called My Social Security.
At very least, you should register an account, to help protect against identity theft and catch any issues or suspicious activity.
Note: Sometimes this website is incorrectly linked as mysocialsecurity.gov – so watch out!
