MTGO EDH Deck Building - How To Make A Jank Deck Quickly
I wanted to make a new deck to play with and thought it would be fun to show my process for how I build jank decks quickly from my collection. I had no plan going into it what type of deck I wanted to make.
I actually played with the deck after in a 4 person lobby and ended up winning haha.
I understand that your mtgo or magic collection will be different from mine, but hopefully watching this video can give you some insight and confidence in putting together decks of your own from your own collection!
First, I look through my collection for cards I'd like to play. I add some to the deck. As I add cards, I sort them into categories. Once I pick my commander, I can fill out certain parts of the deck list, such as ramp or card draw and try to add a section for the deck's theme or sub themes.
Here is my "general" guide:
10-12 card draw
3-6 board wipes
6+ single removal spells
10+ cards - themes/synergies
10-12 ramp
1 or 2 you win the game cards
(at least 20 creatures outside of the commander unless spell themed or something demanding more slots)

I apologize for the police sirens in the background. I live nearby the street and my microphone picked it up unfortunately. Also, the goat bot I visited didn't have the card I wanted, so I just continued deck building because I didn't want to go through ordering online at the time.
