Find a good mentor because it's really important to have someone who's in your field and can give you the push in the right direction. Firstly, it saves a lot of time that you can put in things you actually wanna do, and secondly, you'll be learning from someone who knows the good, the bad, and the ugly of that subject.

She founded The Corcoran Group, a real estate brokerage in New York City, which she sold to NRT for $66 million in 2001 and shortly thereafter exited the company.
