How To Add A Favicon To Your Webs.com Site
One must when it comes to having a website is a favicon. Here's how to add one via Webs.
Step 1: Obtain a favicon.
If you don't already know a favicon is a little 16x16 image that represents your site. Usually right next to your browser tab.
You can make your own manually or convert one at http://favicon.cc/
Remember to download the file, it should save as "favicon.ico"
You can also make your own with programs like Photoshop, GIMP, Illustrator, Inkscape, Paint.NET, etc. .
Export the image as .ico
Step 2: Upload.
Upload the image by going to the File Manager once your logged into your Webs account where you want to attach the favicon.
Click on "Single File Uploader", Browse for the favicon.ico file, Select it and upload it to the main directory (no folders).
Once it's there your done! It can takes anywhere from 1 sec to 74 hours to take effect. Try pressing on F5 on your keyboard if you don't see it right away.
Congrats you now have a favicon and one step closer to become a Master Webster.
