In order to follow this candle making tutorial, you'll need to make sure you have the following ready to go:
Equipment:
• 2 Bubble candle moulds
• Wax melter with spout
• Jumbo craft sticks
• Wooden wick holders
• 3 measuring jugs
• Large threading needle

Materials:
• 6 ply/#2 cotton wick
• Wax (We use sustainable palm wax)
• Pink and Brown candle dye chips or red, yellow and green if you want to create your own brown colour.
• Fragrance oil (optional)

Step 1:
To get started we need to heat our wax. The wax we’re using works best when poured at 80 degrees celsius,

But because we’re using candle dyes today we need to heat our wax to a little over 80 degrees to allow for extra working time before we pour.

Step 2:
Next we need to wick up our moulds using a 6 ply wick with a wooden wick holder and elevate it using 4 jumbo paddle pop sticks on each side of the mould. Doing this will prevent our candle from having an ugly impression of the wick holder on the bottom and allow it to sit evenly on any surface.

Step 3:
After we’ve wicked up our moulds, it’s time to start making our first colour which will be pink.

To get our colour right we will drop a small dye chip into our wax and stir it around until we start seeing the colour bleed into the wax.

Once the wax has some colour, we like to put a few drops onto a white plate and wait for it to set so we can get a good gauge on how the final colour will set for our bubble candle.

When you get your wax to the right colour, do a quick temp test to ensure your wax is still at the right pouring temperature and carefully pour your first colour into your bubble candle mould.

Note, getting each layer of this Neapolitan bubble candle takes patience and precision,

So take your time when pouring and make sure you stop when your wax covers half of the first layer of diamonds in the mould.

Step 4:
After our first pour is complete, we’re going to let it set for 45 minutes before adding our next colour.

The next layer of our bubble candle is going to be white,

which means the next layer won’t require any colouring at all and we just pour our white wax straight into the mould.

Step 5:
Once our white wax has set after 45 minutes, we can then go and add in our brown wax.

To make brown wax, you can simply buy a brown wax dye or you can make your own.

We don’t actually work with brown wax in our usual scope,

So today we’’l be making ours using a combination of red, green and yellow dye and simply doing a plate test to make sure we get our colour perfect.

Step 6:
Once we’ve got our brown candle colour perfect, we’re going to repeat the pouring process for a 3rd time and leave our candles to completely cure for 24 hours.

When our candles are completely cured, it’s time for the exciting bit, de-moulding!

And by the end you should have a gorgeous Neapolitan Ice Cream Inspired Bubble Candle ready to burn!

As mentioned in the beginning, if you want to create your own bubble candle using this method, all equipment and materials we’ve used today will be linked in either at the top of this description or can be found in the pinned comment.
