In this lesson, we're going through the process of exporting your audio episode, whether it's a guest or solo episode.
We'll begin by navigating to the 'publish' option and choosing 'export audio.'
I'll show you where to add in any metadata you might want to add, such as the episode title, number, and description, along with any associated artwork, though it's not mandatory at this stage.
You'll learn how to set the right audio parameters to ensure the sound quality at export. Additionally, I show you how to export the transcripts for potential show notes and subtitles in SRT format that might be useful for some podcast platforms.
I go on to highlight the importance of checking your exported MP3 file to ensure its completeness and that nothing gets cut off. You'll also be introduced to the option of directly uploading your episode to certain podcast hosts, however I've found that not to be super useful at this stage.
Lastly, I'll offer a crucial tip: always ensure you're exporting the entire episode and not just a highlighted portion. Join me to master the art of exporting and ensuring the best quality for your podcast episodes!
