We had 60 seconds to make a contestant laugh. If they did NOT, they won cash. Our goal was to be as funny as we could for the entire 60 seconds and keep the studio audience laughing out loud.(Achieving Maximum on-camera time showcasing our talent.)
I suggested this improv bit based on the game 'Good Angel-Bad Angel. I'm the guy in the middle. Robin LaValley was the Good Angel and Vic Dunlop the Bad Angel...The opportunity to appear on Make Me Laugh, the syndicated comedy series, was the final four appearances of the award winning LA Connection Comedy Theater's 'Core One Originals' before leaving the LAC. Cast member Vic Dunlop, a gifted stand-up comic and MML show regular, convinced the producers to have the first and only comedy group to ever appear on the show during four consecutive days.
