Upgrade your laptop with M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid-State Drive (SSD) 1TB & keep your data & operating system (Clone your old SSD to new SSD) Replace or Upgrade your SSD to bigger capacity with cloned data (your files & operating system) in laptop.
Steps:
1 - M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD 1TB
2 - NVMe SSD adapter to USB/Type-C (make external drive)
3 - Create external SSD (new 1TB SSD)
4 - Plugin ext. SSD & check if detected
5 - Download/Install Macrium Reflect app for clone old SSD to new SSD
6 - Start clone old SSD to new SSD by Macrium Reflect app
7 - Plug-out ext. SSD & install it inside Laptop (Internal SSD)
8 - Remove old SSD & install new SSD inside laptop (Int. SSD)
9 - Check new 1TB SSD is detected
** Done! & finish! **
This step is optional only in case you want to make old SSD (small capacity 256 GB) as external drive:
Install old SSD into NVMe SSD adapter to USB/Type-C (make external drive) .
