Housing for high-frequency speaker, supertweeter.
I'm trying to turn a tweeter enclosure. The ribbon tweeter will be mounted separately in its own enclosure on top of the speaker system.
I turned it all on a small homemade lathe. Link to the lathe:

When turning wood, you need special tools. The ones I used for turning can't be used (danger of injury), with the exception of a semicircular file tool, which removes the top layer of the blank.
I turned it out of pine, which isn't a suitable material (I need birch). The cut often turns out jagged, and I have to fill in the uneven areas afterwards.
In the end, it turned out alright after filler, painting, and applying a matte varnish.
Now I just need to test and adjust these super tweeters in the speaker system.
