Rainy Days, New Animals, and a Garden Update Experimental Homesteader
Hey guys, it's Sheri Ann Richerson from ExperimentalHomesteader.com and ExoticGardening.com! It's been a while since my last update, and so much has happened here on the farm. Despite the rainy Indiana weather, we’ve been busy adding new plants and animals to our homestead.
In this video, I’ll take you on a tour of our garden, showcasing beautiful milkweed, marigolds, and a variety of zinnias. You'll see some stunning All American Selection winners and the vibrant Floret Don Creek pastel zinnias. Plus, I’ll introduce you to our Cassia and Nicotiana plants, along with some of our native flora like prairie coneflowers.
But that’s not all! We’ve got new additions to our animal family, including heritage turkeys, ducks, and adorable piglets, Ivan and Hammy. I'll share how we're using our chickens and guineas to naturally weed the garden and give you a peek at our goat herd and their antics.
