Swipes are detected whenever you move your finger in a straight line in a particular direction (up, down, left or right), and then when that's done, a certain action can be executed.
In this lesson, we'll learn how to access swipe events in actionscript 3.0 (which also fall under the category of transform gesture events) in all directions; up, down, left and right. And we'll use that to animate a slide show in accordance to our swipe direction.
