Double Constrictor Knot
How to tie a double constrictor knot. This knot has internal friction and will grip two cords tightly.
Choose the thread for making the knot carefully. It should not be too smooth as the knot requires internal friction to grip securely.
Although it is described as a secure knot, it may come undone. I have found that using a needle to secure the ends by stitching them into the cord improves the knot. It is also possible to use west country whipping and finish it with this type of knot.
The cord is a filled tubular cord with 25 warp ends. It is woven using a weaving disc. It is in warp-faced weave so that the weft does not show.
