Watermark your images in Capture One.
Small watermarks in proofs don't prevent clients from using the images anyway. They can photoshop or crop it out, or, worse, just use the photo with a partial watermark showing.
So perhaps the solution is to create a watermark that covers the whole image. This video shows how to create one like that in Photoshop, and then how to use that (or any watermark) in Capture One Pro.
