They have named this computer SuperCluster.
And by mid-2022,it would be ready.The most powerful supercomputer yet is named fugaku.It is in Japan.And it has 7.3 million cores.Think about it.
The computer you buy for your home should you by a 16-core or 32-core,you keep thinking about it. It's a computer with 7.3 million cores.The speed of supercomputers is measured in FLOPS. The number of calculations a computer completes in 1 second. Apple latest iPhone in 1 second, can do 736 billion operations.But Fugaku supercomputer's speed is 600,000 times more than the speed of iPhone.1 followed by 15 zero's.That the number is called Quadrillion.And 1 followed by 18 zero's is called Quintillion.
