Petr Cech began his football career at Khmel Belshani in 1999, where he played intermittently for two seasons before moving to Sparta Prague in 2001. At the age of 19, Cech became a regular starter for the first team, and his single season with the club saw him set a league record by going 903 minutes without conceding a goal. This led to Petr Cech's first move abroad, when he transferred to France to join Rennes in Ligue 1 for a fee of €5.5 million (£3.9 million) in 2002. #WhereDidHeDisappear
