Steve Such was selected as the winner of Tommy Igoe's Groove Essentials 10th Anniversary Drum Contest by Hudson Music, was named a Grand Finalist in the Chad Smith Bombastic Drum Contest by Drum Channel and was also named San Diego's Guitar Center Drum-Off Winner in 2013. He's opened for such acts as P.O.D., The Wailers, Bret Michaels, and Steel Pulse. Steve holds a degree in Jazz Studies from the Indiana University Jacobs School Of Music, was a member of the Disneyland All-American College Band, and has traveled the world for several years as a showband drummer. Recently, Steve performed with American Idol artists Blake Lewis and Mikalah Gordon. In addition to his role as drummer for the Red Not Chili Peppers, he is an active sideman and teacher based in Southern California.
