Mikhail Rall's feature film "Smile," based on a short story by Ray Bradbury, was filmed in Saratov at the amateur film studio "Poisk" in 1971.
Party officials ordered the film burned, but the director was secretly given negatives from the lab, allowing it to be restored.
Scenes from "Smile" have often been used in various films. Now we present to you the entire film.
