I had always been hesitant to upload this as the file was compressed when it was sent to me, so the resolution isn't what it was..

This is a 1987 Toyota Van Wagon LE 4x4 5 speed w/ a true Hi-Lo transfer case. Has locking Warn Premium hubs, and in this clip, standard highway all season tires, aired down. Absolutely was dragging the transfer case that day in the 35" rated trails, but never got stuck as it three-wheeled over some notable, unrecorded obstacles. At some point this day, it snapped the rear sway bar, which I imagine only helped it find more grip.
These days I'm running 27" General Grabber ATs with the white letters out of course.
Down the road I have a set of 1977 early Bronco axles, only a half inch more narrow than the Toyota at 58". Dana 44 for the front with a high pinion carrier, and I'm looking into Hi-9's high pinion carrier for the 9", effectively allowing me to lift the van ≈six inches without touching drive shaft angles.
