A great initiative by the MOEFCC (Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change) encouraging schools and students to be part of a Youth Nature Camp.
This Camp is being conducted by EMPRI (Environmental Management & Policy Research Institute) in Karnataka and implemented by The Naturalist School (Skill India Training Provider).
This is a 3-day Camp for 50+ students
The course was designed to provide a small insight into understanding of our natural world, helping build connections and awareness of our impact.
The students had a great learning to make meaning of the natural world through stories that connect the fabric of our planet.
The camp included many fundamental aspects such as:
Connecting with nature
Biodiversity of India
Wildlife Amongst Us
Introduction to Birds / Bird Watching
Conservation and Sustainability Practices
The camp included a certification program to recognise the students dedicating time to value the environment around them and learn ways to sustain it.
ChukkiMane aligns its idealogies with the Ministry to educate the society of the importance of Nature and having conservatory practices. Our staff found the teaching a great experience and learning.
