This is part two to the conversation for the Mexican F1 GP. Max Verstappen's driving when a championship is on the line is completely different to when he races in normal circumstances. Some consider it great, others unethical. However, him forcing Lando off at turn 7 was very reminiscent of some of the moves he was pulling off in 2021 against Lewis Hamilton. Here, we dissect everything that occurred during that season and pinpoint how the FIA's leniency with Verstappen led to the driving standards we see today.
