The V3 Screamer is basically the same with the exception of the metal film caps, which are less microphonic (which is a benefit at high gain levels) , quieter, and they handle power surges better. The new Screamer is also able to run at 18V so the caps are an added safety feature when running at higher voltages. The new powdercoat is a two part metallic gloss finish and the knobs are milled aluminum.
