Fly Yuma 2017
Yuma Aeromodelers would like to thank each and every person who participated in this Airshow 2017, both flyers and support crew. How very blessed we were with PERFECT weather, HUGE crowd, FANTASTIC flying.... Fly Yuma '17 could not have been much better.
Kevin came over from Tucson. He brought with him, Colton Clark who works for Desert Aircraft, Tanner Curtis who works for HiTec and Bernie Leskov who is retired. These four pilots and Dave Sullivan who came down from Sacramento Ca. were the 5 who flew the closing cluster fly at the finale where there were (5) 3D aircraft flying in a close, near perfect "dance" with each other. We had 40 pilots who flew in 26 separate acts. For 3 1/2 hours we had flyers and planes that represented the whole hobby spectrum from Dollar Store foam board planes to 42% 3D planes.
