Are you living in an alien world? How does modern industrialized society affect your brain and mental health? In this video, I talk to Dr. Nikhil Chaudhary, a lecturer in Evolutionary anthropology from the University of Cambridge, who has studied hunter gatherer tribes in Africa and Asia for more than 10 years. He also shares some insights from his research on the psychological well being of hunter gatherers and WEIRD humans (Western Educated Industrialized Rich Democratic societies).
