Cashless payments is emerging as the No.1 way to pay in Ireland, with credit and debit card spending reaching €40.1 billion in the first half of last year. Mobile wallet payments accounted for an impressive 32% of all card transactions at POS terminals, averaging 40 million transactions per month.
