The Block Diagram of Integrating Type Digital Voltmeter has the following points:
The voltage to be measured (Ei) is applied to the integrator, and the output of integrator (V_0 ) start to rise.
The (V_0 ) is fed to level detector which is similar to voltage comparator and sends a pulse to the pulse generator gate when (V_0 ) reaches certain reference level.
The output pulse of level detector opens the pulse generation gate, allowing pulse from fixed frequency clock oscillator to pass through pulse generator. .....................................
