How to Move Windows Installation to an SSD with iSumsoft Cloner

Sometimes, we want to add an SSD to a computer but still, keep the hard drive. How do we boot the computer from the SSD using the same operating system? iSumsoft Cloner will help you. It makes it easy to create an exact copy of the original copy of the Windows operating system to another hard drive. This process is very simple and can be done in just a few clicks. After the copy process is complete, you can boot your computer from the SSD and leave the HDD as a data partition.

Step 1: Connect the new SSD to your PC.

It requires at least one SSD or HDD to be connected to the system. You’d better convert your SSD disk to MBR or GPT – exactly the same as your current system disk, which will allow you to boot your system effortlessly after cloning your Windows system.

Step 2: Move|Copy the Windows 10 system disk to the new hard drive (HDD / SSD)

Download iSumsoft Cloner and run it. ( Download: https://www.isumsoft.com/cloner/)
Select the “Copy” option in the left menu.
Select the drive letter where the operating system is installed (for example, C :).
Select SSD as the target drive.
Click Start.

Step 3: Restart the PC and set it up to boot from the new SSD (So, your computer can run the cloned Windows 10 system).

That's it!
