Round Table of March 8, 2024 - The Feminine: Between Image(s) and Reality(ies)
(Re)discover this unique exchange between photographer Nora Rupp, whose exhibition "A Body of One's Own" is on display at HEP Vaud, and Julie Beauzac, art historian and creator of the podcast "Did Venus Shave Her Pubic Hair?" A roundtable discussion co-organized by the cultural mediation service and the IPE (Institute for the Promotion of Equality) for International Women's Day, scripted and moderated by Marie Bagi, PhD in art history, student at HEP Vaud, and founder of Espace Artistes Femmes in Lausanne.
Thanks to Marie Bagi, the discussion flowed freely and openly among the participants, questioning the roles assigned to women in history and their invisibility in art history.
