President Meta Praises Hero Skanderbeg on 554th Anniversary of Death
President of the Republic, Ilir Meta commemorated this Monday the 554th anniversary of the death of our national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skëndërbeu.
Through a message on the social network ‘Facebook’, the head of state writes that the immortal work of the most unifying symbol, which forever determined our European belonging, will guide us in every endeavor for freedom, sovereignty and national dignity.
"Our National Hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu, pride and strength, bravery and courage, our inspiration and glory of every era, will forever remain the most alive Albanian among us! The immortal work of the most unifying symbol, which forever defined our European affiliation will always guide us in every endeavor for freedom, sovereignty and national dignity.
