Highlights of SIMPACT 2024!
The Aga Khan University Centre for Innovation in Medical Education (CIME) launched SIMPACT 2024, its first international conference, in Karachi, Pakistan, and Nairobi, Kenya. Held from May 20 to 21, this hybrid event brought together a diverse group of healthcare professionals to advance healthcare education through simulation.
Highlights included hands-on workshops, research discussions, and innovative sessions like ‘Simulation 360’ and “Escape from Mars in 2087.” The conference also introduced the Network for Simulation in Pakistan (NSP), fostering collaboration in simulation-based education. With over 600 attendees across two continents, SIMPACT 2024 marked a significant milestone in enhancing patient safety and skill acquisition in healthcare.
