USDA REAP Funding Your Hydropower Energy Project
This video was produced when the laboratory operated as the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The laboratory is now the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR). Are you seeking funding to support a hydropower project at a farm, ranch, or rural business? Staff from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) presented a 90-minute webinar designed to help you prepare a complete application for the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP). USDA staff discussed its funding opportunities for rural small businesses and cooperatives with a focus on REAP, and NREL staff provided an overview of how hydropower energy technologies can best contribute to rural businesses. USDA and NREL staff then discussed tips on submitting a successful REAP application for this renewable energy technology.
