Welcome to Japan! To start, head into the courtyard ahead to pick up ‘Akano. ‘Akano’s ability is to make Crash and Coco constantly spin with the power of dark matter. This allows them to smash through Locked Boxes, so give it a try with the boxes all around the courtyard. As you’ll no doubt notice, you won’t move as quickly and have driftier physics, and you aren’t able to fully stop moving. Once you’re done, hit the Right Trigger a second time to stop spinning.
Double Jump forward to cross the gap, then use Dark Spin again to smash all the boxes along the path. You can get up the ledge by Double Jumping, which works even with a Dark Spin! Smash the boxes on either side of the doorway before heading inside. Here, you can get a Locked Box high above the watery gap by using a Dark Spin Double Jump, which can reach even higher than a normal one thanks to floatier physics. Once you smash it, get onto the ledge and follow the Wumpa Fruit back outside. Don’t worry! Dark Spins don’t fling away Wumpa Fruit!
