Un-Broken Thematic Panel: Memory and Identity in Lebanese Cinema
SR Socially Relevant Film Festival, NY and LAU The Lebanese American University New York Academic Center present a film series celebrating Memory and Identity in Lebanese Cinema, marking the first anniversary of the terrible blast that shattered Beirut and shook Lebanon. We are proud to feature the work of many LAU faculty, students, and alumni.
With an opening at Lincoln Center on August 17 and films streaming on Sparqfest the rest of the week, we bring together the filmmakers who created these works to discuss their filmmaking and the series' themes.
