MacBook Flexgate Repair | Joshi Repair
A short example of how we carry out a MacBook flexgate repair. The affected area on the original cable is first removed. The cable is then carefully exposed and tinned. The same happens for the replacement cable. The length of the replacement cable is made slightly longer than the length of that which was cut off to prevent this fault from returning. Once all the traces are bridged, we clean the cable, cover it with a specific UV mask and have the laptop fully tested.
