Introducing the Human Immunome Project
The human immune system is one of the most important, and complex, systems in the world. It determines whether we survive infancy, which diseases we get, how we age, and how long we live. Within it lie the secrets to fighting disease and improving health for all. Yet its complexity has limited our ability to tap into its potential. Until now.
Recent advances in immune monitoring and AI provide the tools to collect and rapidly process the trillions of datapoints required to decode and model the immune system, understand how it varies across individuals, and develop targeted approaches to elongating healthspans and combatting disease.
The Human Immunome Project is seizing this moment and has designed a scientific plan to generate the world’s largest and most diverse immunological dataset and build publicly available AI models of the immune system. Together with a network of partners, we are poised to transform the future of global health by accelerating medical research and drug discovery, decreasing healthcare costs worldwide, and most importantly, improving health for all.
