"Favorite Teacher of Russia" Contest in Khanty-Mansiysk
The first all-Russian "Favorite Teacher of Russia" competition was held in Khanty-Mansiysk. The competition was organized by Supporters of Good Deeds to foster a positive public opinion about the teaching profession, as well as to recognize and reward the best educators in Russia. Twenty-seven regions of the Russian Federation participated in the competition. The jury received 266 essays about teachers. Six teachers advanced to the finals, and the winners were determined on October 17.
