2. The Emancipation Proclamation happened in Jan 1863 but the slave owners didn’t tell their slaves they were free until union soldiers showed up in Galveston Texas to let them KNOW they were FREE on June 19th, 1865…2.5 years after they were supposed to be free
3. Black people FREED black people!!!
4. The chair will always live rent free in my head🪑
