This is a day tutorial on making a wood sign for a door specific to a school notebook design.
Materials Used
Door sign blank - Hobby Lobby carries these in pack of 6
Paint - any craft store
Paint brushes - any craft store
1 inch scotch tape (optional painters tape for distressing)
A tape cutter - I used a rotary cutter and a self healing mat
Greenery or Flowers for topper - any craft store (I used Michaels)
Staple Gun - Amazon or craft store
Wood Scrap - home depot scrap - ask about the free section
Floral Wire Cutter - Any craft store
Twine - any craft store
A ruler - any craft store
A wreath hanger - any craft store
Ribbon - wired and non wired - wired gives it shape - Any craft store
A drill to make holes and use a staple gun (I use Royobi tools)
To make the lettering, use a stencil or a cutting machine or a laser (I used my Glowforge)
